Fares — how the price is set
Our airport transfers are fixed-fare per total head count: $66 (1 person) → $132 (7 people), GST inclusive, tolls included, no surge. See the full table on our Fares page.
Every person in the vehicle counts as a passenger — adults, children, and infants. There is no separate child rate and no infant exemption. By Australian road rules, every child under 7 travels in a child restraint (we provide baby and booster seats on request, free of charge). We ask for the honest total at booking so the fare on your confirmation matches the fare at pickup.
Local tours (Great Ocean Road, Phillip Island, Yarra Valley, weddings) are quoted individually because they vary by hours and distance.
Cancellation & no-show
- Free cancellation up to 5 minutes after booking.
- $15 cancellation fee after the 5-minute window.
- $15 no-show fee if you're not at the pickup point within 5 minutes of the driver's arrival.
- Free reschedule with at least 60 minutes' notice for any pre-booked trip.
Refunds
If you paid by card or PayID and we cancel the trip, your full fare is refunded to the original payment method within 3 business days. If you cancel within the free window, same. Cash bookings have nothing to refund unless you've already paid.
Referral program
Existing riders can share a unique invite link from their loyalty card. When a new rider books through that link and completes their first trip:
- The new rider is credited $10 against their first fare.
- The referrer is credited $10 against a future fare.
Credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash, bank transfer, PayID, or any other payout. They apply only to future Ammu Travels fares and expire 2 years after issue if unused. Credits are non-transferable.
The following misuse voids any credit, retroactively if necessary: referring yourself; creating multiple accounts to stack referrals; using a different phone number to book a ride that's for the original account holder; sharing the link in spam channels or advertising platforms; any other behaviour we reasonably consider fraudulent.
Ammu Travels Pty Ltd reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this program — or any individual credit — at any time and without notice. Participation is not a guarantee of future credits.
Disputes
If the fare you were charged differs from the booking confirmation, email support@ammutravels.com.au with your booking reference. We respond within one business day.
