Terms of service

Last updated: 9 May 2026. Plain-English summary of how booking and riding with us works. Australian commercial-passenger-vehicle (CPV) regulations override anything below if there's a conflict.

1. Who you're contracting with

All bookings made through ammutravels.com.au are with Ammu Travels Pty Ltd (ACN 697 648 301) as trustee for the Ammu Anand Discretionary Trust (ABN 61 284 163 160). CPV accreditation DC742056. GST registered from 2026-04-01.

2. Bookings and pricing

Fixed-fare airport transfers are priced per total passenger head count (every traveller, including infants and children, counts). See the full breakdown on our Fares page. Local tours and event transport are quoted individually. Quotes are valid for the time and date you confirm at booking.

By confirming a booking you agree to pay the quoted fare on the payment method you select (cash, PayID, or card) at the time of pickup or as otherwise agreed. GST is included in all displayed prices.

3. Cancellation, no-show and refunds

See our dedicated cancellation & refund policy. In summary: free cancellation within 5 minutes of booking; $15 fee thereafter; $15 no-show fee if you're not at pickup within 5 minutes of the driver's arrival.

4. Passenger conduct

Riders must wear a seatbelt and follow Australian road rules. Children under 7 require an approved child restraint, which we provide free of charge on request. Drivers may refuse or terminate a trip if a passenger is intoxicated, abusive, damaging the vehicle, or asking the driver to break the law.

Damage to the vehicle (vomiting, soiling, deliberate damage) attracts a cleaning fee starting at $150 to cover lost driving time and detailing.

5. Liability

We carry CTP and commercial passenger vehicle insurance as required under Victorian law. Beyond statutory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for delays caused by traffic, road closures, weather, or events outside our reasonable control is limited to a refund of the affected fare. We don't accept liability for missed flights or downstream costs caused by such events; please plan with sensible buffer time (see the airport-buffer guidance shown on the booking flow).

6. Lost property

We hold any item left in the vehicle for 30 days. Email support@ammutravels.com.au with your booking ref to arrange collection or a paid courier return.

7. Loyalty & referrals

Loyalty milestones and referral credits are governed by our referral program terms. Credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time without notice.

8. Privacy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal information is covered in our privacy policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on our home page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be heard in Victorian courts. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
