South-east coast day. We loop the peninsula — Cape Schanck lighthouse and bay views, optional dip at Peninsula Hot Springs, ice cream in Sorrento. Pick up early to make the most of it; later starts swap the lighthouse for an extra hour at the springs.

- Is it good for kids?
- The hot springs has dedicated family pools and the bathing boxes are an easy stop. The lighthouse boardwalk has handrails throughout.
