   Heritage streetscape, plenty of pub options or a heritage tea room.

   Eureka Centre

   The story of the Eureka Stockade — Australia's only armed civil rebellion. About 60 minutes.

   Lake Wendouree drive-around

   Slow drive past the heritage homes; optional 10-minute walk on the foreshore.

   Drop-off at home

   Direct return via the freeway.

How long do we need at Sovereign Hill?

Minimum 4 hours, ideally 5. There's a lot to do — working mine tour, gold pour, sweet shop, schoolhouse, gold panning. Kids will tap out before you do.

Is the Sound & Light show worth it?

If you're staying late: yes. We can adjust the day to include the evening show but it changes the price (later finish).
